Way to go Lady Patriots! They got second place in the Spring Bash tournament. It was very exciting. The final game went into overtime and was still tied 0 to 0. So it went to a shoot out. Almost the entire team got to shoot at the goal. Our eighth or ninth girl shot at the goal and it went in but the referee did not count it because the ball from another game came on the field. The girls fought hard especially the goalie.

1st Annual Activity Day Pinewood Derby

For activity day, they did pinewood derby. The girls spent alot of time deciding on their cars and enjoyed time with their dad building them (or watching him build them). Kelsey decided on a sport car and KyLee decided to make TowMater from car. They got second and third place. Way to go!

Kelsey had a great season with the Stars this spring. She plays sweeper and midfield. They had a hard time getting past her. They played the best for their age group.

Every year we enjoy our family time at the lake. It is nice and relax away from life's stresses. Each year the kids get braver and try new things. Trevor is starting to enjoy the tube. He enjoys drving the boat more. This year Spencer let each of the girls learn to drive the boat. They thought it was cool!

Sex Education

Kelsey is in 5th grade this year. This year all of the 5th grader had the opportunity of watching the sex ed. video. Kelsey came home telling me that it was disgusting and she now knows that I do not poop out my babies. She then started to share all her new information with KyLee. When I asked her why she was telling her (since KyLee did not want to hear), she said that if she was disgusted, that someone else should be disgusted with her. What love!!
