Summer Activities

SUMMERTIME!!

The kids are enjoying the summer at the pool. The girls got to go ice skating with their dad. We also started up volleyball. Kelsey is very excited. KyLee whines. She tells me that she is a soccer player not a volleyball player. She is very good at volleyball though. She is the only kid in her grade that can serve the volleyball overhand. And she serves it with power. Kelsey is pumped. She says that she need to start practicing for next year when she gets to play church ball. Both of the girls did amazing. They even had coaches from club volleyball trying to recruit them for their team. It made the girls feel good!

School Is Out!!

School is out! We had a great school year. Both girls were on the Honor Roll. Kelsey was chosen for a solo in band, which she turned down. She said it was too scary and did not want everyone looking at her.

We are now looking forward to months of sleeping in, swimming and being as lazy as possible.

Adult soccer

Adult spring soccer is now over. It has not been much fun for me sitting on the sideline watching and calling subs. It is very tempting to play. I can't wait to not be pregnant to play. Last friday Spencer had a great break away for the goal. It was too exciting for him so he kicked the ball out of bounds. J/K! He turned funny and tore a ligament on his foot. Now he has to wear a boot 24/7, even to bed. I blame it on old age! Good thing the season is now over!
